Volunteer Tutors Needed

We are currently looking for volunteer tutors for our ONE TO ONE Children’s Literacy Program and our Cyber Seniors Computer Tutoring Program.

hillcrest 2017The ONE TO ONE reading program requires a love of reading, an interest in working with children and a willingness to commit 1.5 hours a week to tutoring students in grades 2 to 5. All tutoring is done at a school during regular school hours and students are selected by their teachers to receive additional reading support.

A three hour training session and a criminal record check is mandatory for all volunteers.

Our next volunteer training session for ONE TO ONE is scheduled for Tuesday January 16, 2018.

We are also looking for volunteer tutors to help senior learners develop computer, tablet and cell phone skills in the Cyber Senior Program.Enderby Cyber Seniors Judy Fothergill tutor Judy Brown 92 year old learner
