We are excited to start planning for Unplug and Play Family Literacy Week 2026! LASS will be encouraging families to reduce or eliminate screen use from January 24 to January 31, 2026 while participating in a variety of free, fun activities that foster literacy, physical activity, creativity and social connection.
In 2025 there were over 60 events in communities throughout the North Okanagan-Shuswap and more then 2,000 people participated in Unplug and Play Family Literacy Week. With the support of partnering organizations and business’ we hope to see even more activities in 2026!
