IMG_0755LASS’ Children’s Literacy programs address the needs of children from early learning age up to high school graduation. Our Children’s Literacy programs have over 200 community volunteers and are very popular with teachers and parents alike. The goals of the Children’s Literacy programs are to improve children’s reading and numeracy skills and confidence and to foster a love of reading from an early age.

Our current Children’s Literacy programs include:

Summer Slide Program

Valid Reading After School Program

Partners: School District No. 83 North Okanagan-Shuswap, SD#83 PAC groups, IODE Enderby, Saint John Ambulance

Funding for our Children’s Literacy programs is provided by the Province of British Columbia Community Gaming Grants and Decoda Literacy Solutions.
