LASS has been supporting Digital Literacy programming for over 10 years, offering Cyber Seniors Technology Tutoring throughout the region. During this time we’ve seen online scams become increasingly sophisticated and widespread, so we’ve decided to offer a free Cyber Security Workshop that will provide strategies to help detect and avoid scams and protect your personal information in the online world.
We hope you can join us for the workshop on Monday, October 16th from 2:30 to 4 pm at the 5th Avenue Seniors Activity Centre (170-5th Ave SE Salmon Arm). Feel free to share this invitation with friends or family, everyone is welcome!
We are also excited to see the return of the Drop-In Technology Help Desk at the Salmon Arm Branch of Okanagan Regional Library on Tuesday afternoons. If you have one or two questions about the basics of technology use feel free to stop-by between 3-4 pm for free assistance.
