Our 2nd Annual Team Spelling Bee Fundraiser was a success! We raised over $13,000 for community literacy and had 14 teams participate. The winners, for a second year in a row, were the Kween Beez book club team! They spelled all 20 words correctly, proving that practice (and a love of reading) makes all the difference.
We couldn’t have done it without the support of our sponsors. Because of the money donated by these groups and individuals LASS can continue to operate and run our programs for another year.
